Plant Insect Control – A Quick and Easy Guide – Say it and Spray it!

Growing up, I acquired my gardening interest and techniques from my skillful mother. However, I picked up a few tricks from my intuitive father as well. In his Atlanta suburban home, with a simple backyard at his disposal, my father was able to grow a luscious herb garden with rosemary, basil, and mint accompanied with pumpkin, tomato and a small mango tree. That first summer, when his hard work bore fruit, was a wonderful treat.

As the next summer season came, the fruits of his labor were not as productive. To his unfortunate surprise, his once lush garden was overrun by aphids, whiteflies, slugs and the elusive squirrel. His second harvest was lost but he was prepared for the next with all natural products like those offered by Casaplanta Garden Center.

Organic 3 – in – 1 Garden Spray may not deter those sneaky mango nabbing squirrels, but it will surely prevent all other pests ranging from insects to fungal invasion. From egg to larval to adult, this spray leaves no ability for soft bodied insects to multiply within your garden plot. Organic 3-in-1 Garden Spray is made of components like sesame and fish oil, so it is a safe and reliable product to kill pest insects. Use it to kill aphids, whiteflies and spider mites while leaving your garden safe from any chemicals (because there aren’t any adverse chemicals within). I think you would also be pleased to know that your local honey bees will be completely unaffected by this spray, so your pollinating hero is safe!

Safer Brand Insect Killing Soap is a potassium, salt-based organic spray that breaks down the waxy outer covering of soft bodied insects. Specifically used in vegetable and fruit gardens, this spray is effective at killing aphids, mealybugs, and whiteflies within 7 – 10 days, bringing safety to your home garden once more! Be aware, however, that the organic composition of this spray that breaks down the waxy coating of insects, also has the potential of breaking down the waxy permeable layer of leaves, so be sure to review which plants can and can not be sprayed! This is crucial to prevent lysing or desiccation. With that in mind, this spray is extremely effective for its purpose.
